Naturally, you meant to take off all of your delicate jewels during these fun summertime activities, but, if you’re like us, the thought probably escaped you.That’s okay, we’ve got you (and your gems) covered.With autumn quickly approaching, now is the perfect time to take a moment to restore and refresh your precious possessions so that they’re sparkling like new. And we’ve got just the tools — and instructions — you need.Let’s dive in.
At Anna Sheffield, we have not one, but *two* Fine Jewelry Cleaner Sets that will cater to each piece of your jewelry’s specific needs. The Fine Jewelry Cleaner (pictured left) is suited for use on gold, platinum, silver and diamonds, while our Gentle Jewelry Cleaner (pictured right) is your secret weapon for pearls, turquoise, opals, emeralds or other porous (and more delicate) gemstones.
Once you’ve chosen the correct cleaning solution for your piece, use your ASJ Jewelry Cleaner brush, to gently scrub the stones and setting, making sure to scrub in unlikely places such as under your solitaire ring basket, or on the inside of your band.After cleaning for several seconds, soak your piece in warm water and then allow to air dry on a padded surface or towel.[Pro Tip: Take a look at the quick video below for a full tutorial].
